Fun Blog - BIG BOOOBIES!

Seriously, women who have lived their whole lives with great assets - I salute you!

Since the girls my once perky assets have about quadrupled in size, and I am NOT liking it.
I thought this would be great!!

As soon as they escape out of the bra at night, they flop to the floor.
They get in the way of just about everything!!
They make all the tops I wear about 10cms shorter and I really don't exactly wanna be showing off my tummy these days!
They prevent me from geting comfortable in bed at night - SERIOUSLY!! The area under which they have flopped gets all sweaty and ugh!

Oh yeah and of course Chase loves this.
Not me!

So telll me - when do they shrink again huh? ;-)

Life as a Mom of twins.

What's it like having twins?

Two of this and two of that. Two of everything else!

People often ask me, "How do you cope?" Is this a "correct" answer to this sort of question? I just do. I'm not a perfect Mom, but I don't think many people are. But I try my best. When they are both screaming their head off and I don't know which one to go to first - of course it's hard. But when they are both sitting there smiling, playing with each other, holding hands... laughing together, it makes my job so easy.

Sure, I have my fair share of ignorant Mom in the mall comments. "Are they twins?" "Are the identical?" "They must be identical" "Double trouble I'm sure" "How do you tell them apart?" and all the obvious questions. But these people don't know any better.... if they did I'm sure they wouldn't ask the questions!

Corah and Madeleine are 5 months old now, and time just goes in too quickly. It makes me sad to think they are both growing up so quickly, but I feel so blessed to be a Mom of two beautiful little girls. Every night I kiss each of them and feel so eternally blessed, because God has given me this chance to be a Mommy in this way.

The girls didn't notice much different, as was expected, they are not superbabies now! :P But it was a really special day and a really BIG thank you to everyone who got them the beautiful presents... I have rang round a few of you but if you haven't got a call yet expect one soon because all of their presents were BEAUTIFUL, y'all are seriously FAR too generous!

For my complete and utter failure to keep up with this thing!

But anyway:

We went to visit Fran and Kay in MI two weeks ago now? We had a great week and they love the girls.... who were like angels for the whole stay (yay for them!).

Then we came home and I got the news my Mom was in hospital, she had fluid in the lungs and then they had to collapse it some way... ? Sorry, I was always crap at biology (maybe how I ended up with twins huh?), but she may need to get an operation to put it right, but she's home for now, she got home on Saturday so I've finally got some time to relax!

Christmas is such a busy time! I can't wait for tomorrow, it will be so special being the girls first Christmas and everything!

Sorry for the wait!

Sorry for the fact this has taken me so long to get this up.

I am just way too slow at getting everything together. My internet broke down and a combination of not knowing anyone here, being far too busy and just not being bothered meant I didn't get round till fixing it till now.

It's up and running though so we're back on the track!

C&M slept for 7 hours straight last night! Yeah! I'm so pleased, they're really starting to get the hang of this sleeping in time together thing! Which equals more sleep for Mommy and Daddy!

Thanksgiving is this week. It's weird to think it's just going to us 4 for Thanksgiving, it's never just been us before although it is only the girls first Thanksgiving so that's a kind of obvious one. Without my parents and such. I'm looking forward to it though! Should be good!

November time!!

Hey it's November.... what?? My babies will be 4 months old this month... as they say.. time flies when you're having fun!

I love this place... we're going out today to look for the park! I miss my parents already though.. lil Micheala and Jessica, and not so lil Sammy... hehe you're always little in my eyes! and of course big Rogan and Claire.. and all those wonderful friends I happent to have!

Madeleine can now roll over. It's so cute watching her do it, Corah watches her and giggles! I'm not sure when Corah will do it but we have been told she is more likely to be a little behind her little sister because of her birth problems with her neck and so on, but Dr says he is not concerned it will have any long term effects, which is the best! I feel so blessed to have two healthy little girls!

Anyway it's early in the morning and I've just dressed the girls.. and I'm sitting listening to BRITNEY!! Yeah reminiscing over old times... so as I'm doing that just thought I'd post this pic... I miss these times... I want to fit into those again! My birthday weekend.. hmm.. 2 years ago!



But life moves on and I'm just lovin my life right now<3

Wednesday 30th October - Halloween.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!

We aren't celebrating this year, TOO much to do and we don't have the money! I'm a bit disappointed as it would be the girls' first Halloween but I know with the move and things we don't have the time.

The girls are good though. They slept for 6 hours straight last night in their new crib - they don't seme to notice any difference.

It's so weird to think they will be 3 1/2 months old tomorrow! Seems like yesterday I was fed up with being pregnant!

They have such different little personalities and look so different... although I think they both look like their Daddy now, although a little mixture with me!

Chase is great and is looking forward to starting work in his new home. Everything seems to be going great here although we miss everyone back at home!

My Very First Blog - Our New Home.

Ok here I am posting for the very first time from Virginia!

Friends have told me how I NEED to keep in contact with them, and I'm starting early.

We arrived at the house yesterday and starting unpacking everything. Chase arrived this morning after driving through the night too so we're all here now as a family!

Soo.... I guess an introduction is in order as this is my first blog!

I am Amy Green.. yes I am aware the blog name says Aimee. That is the correct spelling and I had to use it cause AmyGreen was already taken... but I haven't spelt my name properly in years. So it's Amy!

I am married to Chase, for nearly 2 years now! I love it and he is certainly the man of my dreams! Obviously the fact he is the hottest marine in the world helps too.

Together we have beautiful twin girls, Corah and Madeleine. Yep twins some say we weren't ready for one baby and we got two, but we manage!!

The girls are 3 months old now and growing bigger everyday. They truly do amaze me!

So anyway, I'm not actually on my home computer right now.... but I had a little extra time in this cafe and thought I would set up the blog so when we get the comptuer set up at home it's ready to go!
